Gadget of the fortnight: Quantify your digital marketing

McKenna-Ian-MM-2014-700.jpg

The service I am looking at this week is a great tool for any hard-pressed PR or digital marketing firm that needs to demonstrate the value of the online coverage they are creating either to a client or internally. Coveragebook.com makes it really easy to analyse online coverage and presents measurement data.

Our own PR advisers used it for F&TRC. This identified we had had 37 pieces of coverage during the first quarter of this year, creating nearly 70,000 reads and generating approaching 1,000 social media shares, of which over half were via LinkedIn.

Although it currently only includes online coverage, I understand the firm is working to extend the service to include print media. It is presently available for a free 14 day trial and has a very transparent pricing model ranging from £40 to £150 per month depending on needs. For anyone in this sort of role it is well worth spending some time looking at this programme.

Tony Mudd: Providers are working to develop LTC products

Recent stories have played on the fact that despite the Care Act (which, among other things, will introduce a £72,000 care cap) no insurance company is looking to develop care products. Specifically care products that will work in conjunction with the cap to cover the so-called catastrophe costs. This phrase and the idea behind the […]

Lee Robertson: Rise to the challenge

I have been reading the commentary and social media activity around the recent BACK2Y conference with huge interest. I should probably declare some interests here. I went to the first conference last year and would have gone again this year if not for a diary clash. I have known and respected founder Paul Armson for […]
