FundsNetwork has committed to increasing the total number of clean funds on the platform to 1,500 by the end of June.

The platform has added between 100 and 200 clean funds a month since the start of the year and will add a further 400 this month and in June.

FundsNetwork says the additions will mean 95 per cent of the platform’s assets will have clean share classes available.

FundsNetwork head of sales Paul Richards says: “The recent platform paper and our ongoing conversations with advisers have reinforced the need to accelerate our clean share class take on to help advisers migrate their business models.”

A recent Money Marketing study revealed a wide range in the number of clean share classes available via different platforms.
