by James Phillipps

FundsNetwork is adding 16 fund links to its onshore investment bond wrapper, bringing the total of links to 196.

The new funds include four Fidelity portfolios – American special situations, India focus, moneybuilder UK index and special situations. There are two Artemis, New Star, M&G and Neptune funds and one each from Invesco Perpetual, Investec, Jupiter and Rathbones.

FundsNetwork head David Dalton-Brown says: “”The Funds Network investment bond wrapper has proved a hit with advisers – it has been less than a year since we launched and many advisers taking advantage of the flexibility and fund range offered by the bond.

“We have added 35 new fund links in the past two months and plan to increase this in 2007. The expansion of the onshore range comes as we prepare to launch a new range of flexible, multi-asset trusts as well as an offshore bond wrapper in the new year.”
