FundsNetwork and Sesame deal boosts Isa sales by 80%

Sesame’s partnership with FundsNetwork has resulted in an 80 per cent increase in Isa season sales among network members.

Isa sales rose to 8.1m for this year’s Isa season from February 1 to April 5 compared with 4.5m last year.

The platform produced over 20,000 personalised brochures for Sesame member firms to help advisers build personalised client brochures.

It is the second year of the partnership but this was the first time that marketing material was personalised for Ses-ame members.

FundsNetwork and Sesame will be holding forums in 20 nationwide venues focusing on ways that advisers can make the most of the platform and tailored support offered by the partnership.

There will also be a series of Isa campaign workshops for Sesame members hosted by FundsNetwork, with guest speakers from firms including Artemis, Fidelity, Gartmore, Investec and Jupiter.

There is a dedicated Funds- Network website for Sesame members available through Assureweb, with access to a range of supporting sales material such as pre-approach and direct-offer templates.

FundsNetwork head David Dalton-Brown says: “We are delighted that this joint ini- tiative has been so success- ful and feel that this is a ref- lection of the considerable expertise and resources of both companies.”

Sesame head of product development Andrew Oliver says: “In today’s challenging market, it is essential for adv-isers to work more efficiently. Our members were deligh- ted with the tailored marketing material and the range of investment funds which enabled them to create tar-geted Isa campaigns for the first time.”
