Fund managers ethical concerns over Burmese investments

A group of Europe&#39s largest financial institutions is calling on companies operating in Burma to make sure their businesses do not perpetuate human rights abuses.

The group, which has assets under management totalling £400 billion and which includes Jupiter, Morley Henderson, CIS and Friends Ivory & Sime is warning that companies should be aware of the risks of operating in unstable political climates.
