Fund managers defect to Investec

Three fund managers have defected to Investec Guinness Flight from rival fund manager Schroder Investment Management.


The movers are Jeremy Rigg, Michael Rimmer and Nigel Dutson. They were among the 24 of 40 Schroder fund managers who avoided the axe in a reshuffle at the company last week.


Rigg took over as head of Schroder&#39s £390m UK Growth Investment Trust this year. Rimmer managed £2.5 bn for 21 pensions and charities. Dutson managed funds worth £2bn.
