FSA to set out MMR rules in June

The FSA says it plans to publish its rule changes for the mortgage market on arrears and approved persons in June this year.

The FSA today published its Mortgage Market Review feedback statement summarising the responses received to its Mortgage Market Review discussion paper, published in October 2009.

It says following the publication of the Mortgage Market Review consultation paper on arrears and approved persons in January, it aims to publish a policy statement, setting out the final rule changes, in June.

The FSA says it received a wide range of “constructive and positive responses” from firms, consumers and their representative bodies, and other stakeholders.
