FSA to hold TCF seminars for compliance consultants

The FSA is hosting seminars for compliance consultants aimed at providing a greater practical understanding of what the regulator expects in terms of its treating customers fairly principles.

They are taking place in Manchester on September 19, London on October 7, Newport on October 8, Livingston on October 9 and Gloucestershire on November 27.

The seminars are for consultants who work with small regulated firms and will include plenary sessions and a case study.

The plenary sessions will focus on the work undertaken by FSA supervisors before, during and after the various types of FSA visits and will draw specific references to its enhanced supervisory strategy.

The case study will focus on a fictional client of a compliance consultancy and will be sent out to delegates prior to the event.

EEF/Jelf Employee Benefits Sickness Absence Survey 2015

EEF stated in its 2015 EEF Manifesto that the UK’s growth prospects depend on people being fit, working and productive. Keeping people in work and helping people return to work is very important for the manufacturing sector. It means boosting productivity by getting people back into work as early as is possible, as well as fostering workplace cultures and environments that proactively manage individuals’ health conditions so that all can benefit from lower sickness absence outcomes.
