FSA suspends IFA firms

The FSA has this week suspended three IFA firms, preventing them from carrying out any regulated business.

The firms are Gallagher & Company of 17 Malone Court, Downpatrick, Co. Down, Allan Austin Investment Services of 16 Carmel Street, Abertillery, Gwent and Midgley&#39s Insurance Mortgage & Pensions of The Studio, 20 Stony Lane, Eccleshill, Bradford.

Gallagher and AAIS failed to maintain PI insurance. AAIS and MIMP failed to comply with PIA Ombudsman awards and Gallagher failed to provide information requested by the FSA.
