FSA probes top insurers on equities

The FSA is writing to the country&#39s top 20 insurers to ask them what plans they have in place to deal with plummeting equity markets. An FSA spokeswoman says the information gathering exercise is only what should be expected of a prudent regulator given the current market conditions.
