FSA conjures up stakeholder seminar

The FSA has written to pension specialists at leading life offices asking

them to attend a seminar to discuss stakeholder pension decision trees.

Ironically, the seminar to discuss the issue which has baffled much of the

industry is to be held at the headquarters of the Magic Circle in London on

June 16.

Life offices say they are waiting to see what the FSA has up its sleeves

but they do not expect it to show all its cards.

One senior pension guru says: “I think the FSA is going to need to pull a

few rabbits out of the hat to make this one work.”
