Friends Provident sees life and pension sales fall 10 per cent

Friends Provident new life and pensions sales fell 10 per cent to £246m EPI from £274m EPI for the first nine months of the year.

Group pensions business, however, was up 34 per cent to £97m EPI from £71.4m EPI on the same period last year.

Friends has 3,600 group defined contribution schemes with 71,000 contributing members written on its stakeholder-style group pensions contract.
