Friends Provident enhances IP product

Friends Provident has enhanced its income protection plan by increasing the ceasing age limit for policyholders.

In a bid to keep up with retirement legislation, Friends Provident will be increasing the ceasing ages for its IP product to aged 70 for individual IP and aged 65 for its doctors’ IP product.

These IP enhancements are available through Friends’ online underwriting system, eSelect.

Friends Provident head of protection Mark Jones says: “These enhancements show our commitment to provide products that meet advisers’ expectations and clients’ ever-changing needs. Our wealth of experience in providing these products on a quality technology platform can only make life easier for advisers and their clients alike.”
