Friends I&S puts small company funds into a portfolio

Friends Ivory & Sime is pulling together its three smaller company trusts

in a bid to bolster its IFA business.

The Aim, Discovery and Ivory & Sime UK smaller companies funds will now

come under the new Twenty20 investment portfolio.

Investors can take an income of up to 10 per cent of the original amount

invested, paid quarterly. The fund manager will automatically reinvest any

dividends.

Investment will be split equally over all three small-cap sectors, the

FTSE AIM, Fledgling and SmallCap indices.

Minimum lump sum investment is £5,000 and regular savings £150 a month.

Commission is 3 per cent initial plus 0.5 per cent fund-based renewal.

Friends is offering an early bird incentive commission of 4 per cent

initial plus 0.5 per cent renewal until June 30.

The company&#39s lifetime guarantee applies on Twenty20 and an Isa option and

Pep transfers will be available.

The firm is taking its message out on the road with a series of seminars

kicking off today in Edinburgh and ending in Birmingham on May 25.
