Friends Intl duo offering access to wide asset range

Friends Provident International is adding a single-premium bond and regular-premium savings plan to its Isle of Man-based product range.

The reserve wealth management account is a single-premium bond that can be tailored to suit individual investors&#39 requirements.

It is available in two versions. The first allows investors to choose from a wide range of assets including equities, bonds and investment funds.

The second features a menu of unit trusts, investment trusts and Oeics.

There is a whole-of-life option which allows up to six lives assured, a 20-year endowment option and a capital redemption element which has no lives assured and a 99-year term plus guaranteed maturity value.

A range of charging structures is available which will be developed with IFAs. The minimum premium is £25,000 for the whole-of-life option and £100,000 for the capital redemption and endowment options.

The regular-premium plan, called Premier, allows investors access to FPI&#39s range of funds managed by more than 20 fund management houses.

Up to 10 funds can be linked to the plan at any time and investors can switch fund links at no extra charge.

There is also a life cover facility and protection cover.

Managing director Paul Quirk says: “Reserve and Premier both have the essential flexibility and choice our investors and their advisers demand.

“I am confident that they will prove to be the pacesetters for modern wealth management and savings.”
