Friends Intl bond link-up with Selestia

Friends Provident Internat-ional is teaming up with Selestia fund supermarket to allow IFAs access to Selestia’s fund platform via the FPI reserve bond.

The portfolio bond, written from of the Isle of Man, is a single-premium intern- ational bond which aims to meet the needs of investors looking for flexibility and asset choice.

There are two versions – personalised assets, which allows investment into fully personalised assets and collective investments, restricting investment links to collective investments, and cash only. Both are available in whole of life or capital redemp- tion versions.

FPI believes the link-up with Selestia will give adv- isers greater choice and flex-ibility when constructing investment portfolios for res-erve investors.

Selestia has over 700 funds from 57 fund managers.

FPI director of internat- ional operations Paul Tunnicliffe says: “This is an exciting time for the company and we are pleased to be forging a strong relationship with Selestia, which has an excellent reputation in the market.”

Selestia head of investment marketing Graham Bentley says: “A strong focus of our market-leading proposition has always been to offer the intermediary choice and support when making invest- ment decisions on behalf of their clients.”
