Friends enhances ebusiness proposition

Friends Provident if offering advisers access to free alerts when changes have been made to their clients’ policies.

The service, named Event Manager, enables advisers to take action early on should a policy lapse or a client miss a premium.

The move also means advisers can see when a client is considering cancelling a policy of if a commission is being clawed back.

Friends Prov ebusiness manager Steve Young says: “Our service can add a valuable dimension to intermediaries’ client relationship management. Clients may not appreciate the full impact of missing a payment or cancelling their policy, and if they haven’t sought financial advice it could prove detrimental to their financial planning arrangements.

“Our alert service ensures that advisers are fully aware of everything that’s happening on their book of business and arms them with valuable time and insight to take proactive steps.”
