Freedom adds Mortgage Promotions to distributor panel

Freedom Finance is adding Mortgage Promotions to its panel of distributors, which includes Mortgage Force, Mortgage Next and Pink Home Loans.

Freedom says the scrapping of traditional restrictive income multiples in favour of a more sensible affordability calculation has proved popular with brokers. The firm says the other key features of its product range are individual underwriting of all cases, interest rates which track Bank of England base rate, self-cert available up to 90 per cent LTV and no MIG on prime products.

Mortgage Promotions managing director Nick Baxter says: “Freedom&#39s common sense approach to affordability gives both brokers and borrowers greater flexibility and product choice.”

Their risk profiles ranged from two to nine on our notional scale of one to 10, so I thought it might be appropriate to consider a with-profits bond for some of the […]
