Free FSA surgeries in Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham

Financial advisers, mortgage intermediaries and general insurance brokers in Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham can participate in free FSA surgeries from October 16 to 18.

The surgeries are individual appointments with a member of FSA staff where firms can raise any regulatory queries and discuss areas they need help with.

Places for the surgeries can be booked online on the regulator’s website.
The FSA says it “aims to make it easier for small firms to do business with it and provide them with help”.

The regulator says it has also introduced targeted information and resources for small firms which includes a website for small firms, newsletters, e-learning packages, roadshows, surgeries and improvements to the Firm Contact Centre.
