Framlington in management buyout talks

Framlington managers are in the early stages of management buyout talks.

Former chief executive Peter Chambers started the talks in the autumn but resigned after senior managers at Framlington decided Chambers was not the right person to take the buyout forward. The managers are still planning the buyout but have put plans on hold pending the appointment of a new chief executive. Framlington is currently 15 per cent owned by its staff.
