Foster Denovo partner Peter Butlin is leaving the firm in the latest of a series of high profile exits.
Butlin joins three other partners in leaving the firm over the summer, led by former Millfield Partnership adviser David Pugh who is starting his own practice.
Foster Denovo chief executive Roger Brosch says: “I can confirm that one of our partners, Peter Butlin, will be leaving Foster Denovo at the end of the year.
“I am disappointed that Peter is leaving but understand his reason; he wishes to attain a better work/life balance and therefore, prefers to operate closer to his home.
“The separation is entirely amicable and he will continue to introduce mortgage and other business to Foster Denovo. I wish him all the very best for the future.”
In 2012 the national IFA firm set aside a total of £3.3m for liabilities, including £2m to pay client redress.
