Forum to share information

A new forum is being set up to offer IFAs the chance to share knowledge and access expert views on financial advice.

The Leading Edge Adviser Forum is a non-profit venture by Barclays Wealth Financial Planning financial planner Simon Bullock and Truestone technical consultant Ben Stevens. Members will meet monthly with an expert speaker to discuss a wide range of industry issues. The forum has signed up 10 members from Barclays Wealth, Bestinvest, First Financial, Grant Thornton, Hargreaves Lansdown, Highgrove, Killik & Co, Target and Truestone.

Stevens says membership is selective to ensure participants do not take advantage of information share without offering anything to the group in return.

He says: “The idea is that we have like-minded advisers where we can all help one another.”
