Former Scottish Widows director John Taylor joins Nest

John Taylor

Former Scottish Widows corporate pensions market director John Taylor has joined Nest as managing director of customer and proposition.

Taylor replaces Helen Dean in the role, who has become Nest’s managing director of product and operations.

Nest chief executive Tim Jones says: “John will be taking the message about Nestand where we fit in to employers, other providers and intermediaries. He will also be raising awareness with consumers and helping us to hone our messages for members.

“His background makes him a perfect fit for this role and we are very pleased to have him.”

Taylor left Scottish Widows in July last year after five years with the provider.

He was one of the architects of ‘mymoneyworks’, the corporate pensions platform launched by Widows in April 2010.
