Foresters Friendly Society appoints deputy chief executive

Foresters Friendly Society has promoted Mark Rothery to deputy chief executive.


Rothery will combine the post with his existing role of compliance officer. He joined the Southampton based friendly society in 1991 as an internal auditor.


The friendly society, which is a niche protection provider, is looking to develop its accident and sickness, income protection and funeral expenses business plans.


Chief executive Bob Pollard says: &#34Mark will provide the additional support we need as Foresters continues to develop a range of financial products that are both accessible and affordable for ordinary working people and those on fixed incomes.&#34
