It has teamed up with British Consulates in Spain, Age Concern and the Department for Work and Pensions to launch the service.
Experts will provide advice on pensions; Spanish and UK benefits; healthcare; charitable organisations and moving back to the UK.
According to Government statistics, those relying on fixed incomes such as state pensions, have seen their income drop by up to 25 per cent over the last year.
The advice surgeries will take place in the areas they are most needed for example Torrevieja.
Foreign office minister Gillian Merron MP says: “In Spain as in many other countries there is a particular challenge because the value of Sterling has gone down because of the exchange rate so what people are saying to me is that they are finding it more difficult and therefore they are looking to us, the Government, to assist.”
