Forbes white-labels Standard Sipp

Alexander Forbes Financial Services is offering a white-labelled version of the Standard Life Sipp.

The deal is Standard Life’s first white-labelled Sipp since the company took Sipp administration in house and launched its revamped offering last December.

The three-way deal will see Forbes’ advisers get access to Investment Solu-tions’ fund range within the pension wrapper. Forbes has also set up a ded- icated review team and a Sipp helpline to provide initial and ongoing advice, including a full annual review to rebalance the portfolio.

The Investment Sol-utions platform will enable advisers to access its multi-manager pension funds, along with a range of other equity and alternative in-vestments.

Alexander Forbes’ software tools will support asset allocation selection based on the modelling of client’s attitude to risk. A choice of 10 risk-profiles will be available with a tailored investment strategy for each.

Alexander Forbes marketing director David Marlow says the group is targeting investors, particularly company directors, executives and sen- ior professionals with pension pots of more than 100,000.

He adds: “This Sipp brings together the capabilities of Alexander For-bes, Standard Life and Investment Solutions to give them the tools they need to take advantage of the current and new opportunities.”

Standard Life managing director, sales, Nathan Parnaby says: “Alexander Forbes’ choice of Standard Life as its preferred Sipp provider reflects that, in today’s market, additional features are just as important, especially service.”
