Lucian Camp’s letter entitled, OTT on TLAs, is undoubtedly entertaining but it is factually incorrect.

None of the TLA, VCT, IHT, CML, the FSA or the OFT is an acronym. The following are acronyms: Laser (light amplification by the stimul-ated emission of radiation), Scuba (self-contained underwater breathing apparatus) and, of course, Reits and Furbs. You see the difference?
