Focus Solutions breaks £1m profit

Focus Solutions Group has announced a pre-tax profit of £1.04m for the year ended March 31, 2007, up from £0.11m at the same time in 2006.

Sales revenue reached £7.91m, up 20 per cent from £6.58m and operating profit before exceptional costs reached £1.20m, an increase of £0.83m.

Focus attributes its success to significant new contract wins with companies including HSBC Bank, St James’ Place, Irish Life, Lincoln Financial Group and BT, plus strengthened relationships with existing clients including Barclays, Openwork Limited and Home of Choice.

Focus chief executive Richard Stevenson says: “We have taken a substantial step forward over the past year. These results are testament to the improvements made by the business and to the efforts of all our employees. The new financial year has started well and in line with market expectations.

“We look forward to continuing to execute the established strategy to develop a successful, consistently growing, profitable and cash generative business.”
