FNZ UK chief Paul McMahon leaves after less than a year in charge

FNZ chief executive of UK business Paul McMahon has left the platform provider after less than a year in the role, Money Marketing understands.

McMahon joined FNZ in the second half of last year after quitting as Aegon group marketing director in May.

Prior to Aegon he was Friends Provident managing director of UK corporate.

FNZ powers platforms for Axa Elevate, JP Morgan, Zurich, Friends Life and Close Asset Management, as well as HSBC’s workplace retirement proposition and the Standard Life wrap.

FNZ declined to comment.

  1. Interesting. He seems to be making a habit of not hanging around for long. I wonder why?

  2. Any company who hires him are clearly fooling themselves if they think loayalty is a strength. Just like his name sake Trevor. If things are not perfect he leaves, doesnt seem to relish a challenge (speaking as someone who once worked for a company he steered towards a bright new future…….by resigning).

    Those who know him can probably answer that…….but Axa, Friends, Aegon and now FNZ must know something…….it must be L and G next ?

  4. He must have the best garden in England….this will be his third summer in a row in it!!!
