Flight sacked

Howard Flight has been sacked as conservative deputy chairman and special envoy to the city.
Flight was sacked by Michael Howard after being recorded at a private meeting claiming Oliver Letwins spending policy would be the start of more radical cuts in the public sector.
Flight is an outspoken critic of FSA regulation and helped formulate Conservative policy regarding the Financial Services and Markets Act.
