Flight of fancy

You never know who you might be sitting next to on a plane.

Jason Britton, co-manager of T Bailey’s range of funds of funds, was 30 minutes into a longhaul flight recently when he turned to the man next to him and asked what he did for a living.

“Head of business development for Skandia” came the reply. Not being one to miss an opportunity to try to get T Bailey’s funds listed on another platform, Britton then “treated” his neighbour to a 12-hour hard sell.

“I can tell he was excited by hearing the full T Bailey story although it clearly got too much for him at one point when he fell asleep,” says Britton.
