Fletcher in switch from NU to Lifetime

Norwich Union marketing director Rob Fletcher has joined subsidiary Lifetime to head the wrap provider’s commercial operations.

He will be joined by former Bankhall director Jackie Ison who has been recruited as head of distribution development.

In a management reshuffle, Lifetime sales and market- ing director Will Kinsman is leaving the firm, which is in the process of hiring a replacement.

The wrap platform says the changes in personnel reflect the transition of the business from a pure start-up to a growing business.

Lifetime says it plans to double its sales staff from six to 12 by the end of the first quarter next year and is also looking to build a marketing team to work under the new head of marketing.

Fletcher says: “We are now moving into the next stage of development. We are launching an offshore bond by year-end, a suite of adviser tools for portfolio planning, and will launch an onshore bond early next year. We are now looking at ways to differentiate ourselves in the platform market while offering value to IFAs.”

Budget summary – March 2016

This week’s Budget looked as if it would be a difficult one for the Chancellor, with disappointing economic numbers and the need to avoid ruffling feathers ahead of June’s in/out referendum.
