Fleming Family funds to launch more widely in UK

Fleming Family and Partners Capital Management has appointed Spring Capital Partners to help expand the marketing and client service of their fund range in the UK market.

Initially, Spring will focus on introducing FCM’s two European equity absolute return funds, the FCM European total return fund and FCM European opportunities fund which are managed by Guenter Ferstl and Reinhard Ploder.

Both funds are Dublin-domiciled, UCITS III-compliant with Sterling share classes and daily dealing.

FCM is a specialist investment business within Fleming Family and Partners, the UK multi-family office.

FF&P was founded in 2000 and had £4.1bn under management and advice as at December 31 2008. It launched FPC four years later charged with entering into partnerships with fund managers specialising in absolute return fund management.

Fleming Family and Partners Capital Management chief executive Julian Rogers-Coltman says: “Our background as a multi-family office makes us especially sensitive to the importance of capital preservation for our clients and so our capital management business focuses on absolute return strategies with strict risk controls.

“We are pleased to make these funds more widely available to the discretionary market”.
