Fleming Asset Management ISA delay an advantage

An apparent setback to Fleming Asset Management&#39s ISA – its launch was put back to 4 May due to IT difficulties- may actually turn out to work in their favour.

Fleming investment sales director Phil Jefferson says: &#34The Fleming ISA will not be available until next month. We feel this is not necessarily a disadvantage. There is confusion about ISAs, Maxis, Minis and Cat marks and it will take time for the public to feel comfortable with this new product.&#34

He adds: &#34We would rather be one month late with a fully tested system than first on the market with on a wing and a prayer.&#34

The comapny were having teething difficulties with the Rufus IT backing up their ISA.
