LV= has signed a deal to use Lifequote’s Intelligent Protection software in its advisory arm.
More than 100 advisers, including Skipton and Dunfermline building societies, Alexander Hall and John Charcol, use Intelligent Protection but this is the first time a life office has taken it up.
Intelligent Protection allows advisers to tailor a protection plan to a client’s circumstances. The system generates documentation to complete the sale. The software has been modified to provide quotes from LV=’s flexible protection plan range and family income benefit plan. Applications are submitted electronically to Lifequote for express underwriting.
Lifequote sales and marketing director Richard Verdin says: “We are delighted to be working with LV= on such an exciting development which will see, for the first time, a provider not only supporting what we do in the broker market but now embracing our software and services for its own customers.
“We are confident this initiative will lead us to work closely on other projects.”
LV= financial advice services director Robin Willison says: “This brings together our highly competitive products with Lifequote’s award winning software and services, creating a great proposition for all our customers.”
