First Active boss to sit on advisory panel

The FSA has announced the appointment of the members of the External Mortgage Advisory Group which will advise the regulator during the consultation on the new regulatory regime for mortgages.

The appointments include First Active chief executive Tony Ward and Halifax head of mortgages Phil Jenks.
