Financial Ltd quality assurance head leaves network

Financial Ltd head of quality assurance Steve Eastment has quit the network.

Money Marketing understands Eastment is leaving to concentrate on his compliance consultancy firm, Regulatory Services.

Eastment had been with Financial for six years but handed in his notice last week. The firm is currently searching for a replacement.

Teachers Building Society appointed Financial group finance director Angela Evans as finance and operations director in July.

Money Marketing revealed in November compliance director Steve Bell was leaving the firm as part of a management reshuffle.

Financial replaced Bell with ex-Nationwide head of regulatory risk oversight Richard Warrington in December.

Financial Limited posted a pre-tax profit of £165,000 for the year ending 31 March 2012, down by 51 per cent from £341,000 in 2010/11.

The firm also reported it had set aside £1.5m for complaints.

In August last year, technical training and compliance consultant Tim Hackett confirmed his departure after seven years with the firm.

Finance co-ordinator Liz Pierce has also left after eight years with the group.
