Financial and Legal Skills Partnership chief Liz Field steps down

Financial and Legal Skills Partnership chief executive Liz Field is to leave the organisation at the end of the year.

The organisation says her departure is due to the consolidation of senior roles following the merger of the Financial Skills Partnership and Skills for Justice in April.

Deputy chief executive Sarah Thwaites will take over as acting chief executive until a strategic review of FLSP has been completed.

A spokesman for FLSP says: “Phase one of the review has been completed and Liz Field’s departure is one of the outcomes of that. The second phase is currently underway and that will be looking at a number of options for the leadership of the organisation.”

Field says: “I am sorry to be leaving FLSP and it has been a real pleasure to work with the staff over the past four years.

“I have led the organisation through a period of great transformational change both for the business itself and within the industry. I wish the organisation well and am sure its success will continue.”

Chapters Financial managing director Keith Churchouse says: “Many organisations are currently going through review processes.

“It is vital these types of organisations take steps to ensure they are relevant and competitive as the market changes.”
