Finance director and two lawyers face insider dealing charges

Neutec Pharma finance director Andrew King and two lawyers, Michael Mcfall and Andrew Rimmington, faced eight counts of insider dealing in the City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.

King is charged with disclosing inside information relating to the proposed takeover of Neutec Pharma to McFall.

McFall is charged with disclosing that information to Rimmington and, on three separate occasions, acquiring a total of 3955 shares in Neutec Pharma on the basis of the inside information.

Rimmington is charged with acquiring a total of 6961 shares in Neutec Pharma plc on three separate occasions after receiving the inside information.

McFall and Rimmington are charged jointly with acquiring 3012 shares in Neutec Pharma.

Proceedings were adjourned until July 28 when the Magistrates will consider committal to the Crown Court for trial. All three accused were granted unconditional bail.
