Fidelity International appoints chief administrative officer

Fidelity International Limited has appointed Simon Jeffreys as chief administrative officer, responsible for finance, operations and product development.

Jeffreys joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was the global investment management and real estate leader and a member of the firm’s Global Financial Services Leadership Team. Prior to joining the PwC UK partnership in 1986, he was a partner in South Africa. Jeffreys is an active contributor to global investment management issues and has been a member of the World Economic Forum’s Pensions Taskforce.

Fidelity International vice-chairman Barry Bateman comments: “Simon Jeffreys’ appointment reflects the continuing growth in the scale and scope of Fidelity International. Simon’s substantial knowledge of the asset management industry and broad financial services experience will be of benefit to all our senior management team.”
