Fidelity adds to multi-manager team

Fidelity International has began to rebuild the group’s multi-manager offering by appointing Geraldine Stewart as head of investment.

Stewart, who joined Fidelity back in 1990, will be responsible for leading the team of portfolio analysts as well as offering investment support for third party funds.

She was previously the head of the European equity research team, hiring a number of analysts for the offering.

Eugene Philalithis also joins the offering as a fixed income analyst.

Fidelity has been hit by the loss of four members of its multi-manager team in the past couple of months, with Resolution poaching a team of three that included Chris Ralph to set up its own multi-manager offering back in July, while Josef Odili departed for Fortis Partners earlier this month.
