This month’s Money Marketing Live Manchester will examine the impact of the current correction in the credit markets on intermediaries.
Taking place at the Manchester Central Convention Complex (G-Mex) on Tuesday, October 30, the exhibition and conference will feature a Mortgage and Protection Arena featuring key industry figures offering advice on some of the most important issues facing intermediaries.
Visitors to the event will have a choice of sessions to attend, including the keynote session, which is a special panel debate discussing the credit crunch and what it means for advisers.
Panellists will include Phil Jenks, head of mainstream mortgages at HBOS, John Malone, managing director of Premier Mortgage Service, and Matthew Wyles, executive director of Nationwide.
A second panel debate looking at distribution and the opportunities and threats in the mortgage market will include Chris Cummings, director general of the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries, Alan Cleary, managing director of edeus, Philip Holroyd, commercial director of SimplyBiz, and Rob Clifford, managing director at Mortgageforce.
Dominic Fraser-Smith, group product manager of post-retirement at Norwich Union, will identify ways of getting into the equity release market and will focus on the future of the market, the education and protection of the consumer and upholding the industry in the eyes of the client.
In the protection session, Nick Kirwan, head of protection at the Association of British Insurance, will identify the latest developments regarding definitions of critical-illness cover and consumers’ attitudes to protecting themselves and their families.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to network with some of the country’s leading lenders and all visitors will have the chance to win a fabulous Mazda MX-5, sponsored by edeus, simply by registering and attending.
