The Financial Conduct Authority’s website is back up and running after it crashed earlier today.

Money Marketing first noticed the problem earlier this afternoon.

An FCA spokesman earlier confirmed the website was down with staff investigating the problems.

The website officially launched in April when regulatory predecessor the FSA was disbanded to form the FCA and the Prudential Regulation Authority.
