Fairhead takes global role at HSBC

Adam Fairhead has become global head of product development at HSBC Investments.

Fairhead will be responsible for the creation of new efficient global product ranges for cross-border distribution and for their use as building blocks for solutions for HSBC’s clients world wide.

The main areas of product development focus will include pension liability management, multimanager, emerging markets, absolute returns, SRI investments and retirement.

Fairhead joins after 20 years at JP Morgan Asset Management and has 10 years of experience in senior product development roles in Europe.

He will report to HSBC global head of business development Farley Thomas.
