Expatriate healthcare specialist Morgan Price International Healthcare

Expatriate healthcare specialist Morgan Price International Healthcare has introduced the first international healthcare cash plan for expats to fill the gap in the market between private medical insurance and no cover at all.

Expat Medi-Cash Plan is a standard plan with six out-patient benefits that contribute towards the cost of routine optical and dental treatment, physiotherapy and alternative medicine. An optional extra provides four in-patient benefits that cover hospital and maternity admission and home nursing after a hospital stay.

The plan can be used to add cash benefits to expats who already have private medical insurance. It can also act as a stand alone product for expats who cannot afford private medical insurance but who still want some cash towards healthcare costs.

But it is no substitute for private medical insurance. Healthcare cash plans only contribute a fixed sum towards the type of treatment specified by the plan and are unlikely to provide much benefit for people with serious health problems who regularly require treatment.
