The Exchange is rolling out a new range of mortgage services on its IFA portal, including exclusive products from a panel of 12 lenders.
Lenders on the panel include Royal Bank of Scotland, First Active, Birmingham Midshires and Platform Home Loans. The Exchange says it is in a position to offer intermediaries competitive procuration fees by using its bulk-buying power.
The service also provides a mortgage helpdesk which offers intermediary support on complex lending cases.
IFAs using the service will also have access to an online application tracking service which allows them to monitors the progress of cases.
Conveyancing website Easier2move.co.uk is offering Exchange users a discount on conveyancing services for all cases introduced before the end of May 2001.
The new services will be free of charge to existing mortgage-sourcing customers. Other intermediaries can use the mortgage sourcing service from £7.50 a month.
Head of product marketing Chris Baker says: “Our research shows IFAs value exclusive products and higher procuration fees as the two most valuable benefits of joining a mortgage club. These new services are designed to help intermediaries find the best products for their clients.”
