Excellent Eight Isas from Misys

Misys IFA Services is starting its Excellent Eight Isa campaign on the heels of DBS Network&#39s Magnificent Seven.

Eight Isa funds from eight companies are recommended to network clients and potential clients.

For the tax year to April 5, member firms of Misys&#39 four networks, Countrywide, Kestrel, IFA Network and Financial Options, aim to sell 15,000 Isas through the Excellent Eight campaign and 75,000 in total. Misys analysed 2,000 funds before selecting its Excellent Eight. Customers can choose to invest in either a mini Isa or maxi Isa. Minimum investment is £500.

The funds are Fidelity&#39s managed international fund, Framlington&#39s health fund, Friends Provident&#39s independent growth portfolio trust, Invesco&#39s European growth fund, M&G&#39s high-yield corporate bond fund, Norwich Union&#39s UK growth fund, Schroders&#39 medical discovery fund and Threadneedle&#39s American select funds.

Norwich Union&#39s chief actuary has told a committee of MPs that IFAs are the reason why NU must take genetic test results into account when considering life insurance applications.
