Ex-threesixty consultant joins Phil Billingham Partnership

Threesixty business consultant Susan Jordan has joined the Phil Billingham Partnership as a director.

PBP director Phil Billingham was formerly head of business consultancy at threesixty and left the support services provider in June to spend more time working in his IFA firm Perceptive Planning. Last year he launched the Phil Billingham Partnership, which provides management training and business consultancy to IFAs and financial planners.

Billingham says: “Susan joining the firm is allowing us to react to growing demand for proper, independent business support. We have already put out proposals to Ireland and India in response to requests from firms in those countries, as well as providing training in the UK.

“Susan’s experience of working with firms not only in the UK, but also in Australia and Ireland, combined with my USA and South African experience, gives us a unique insight into the way firms need to operate in order to survive and thrive in the new regulatory environment.”

Jordan says: “It is clear that regulation all over the world is going through a period of convergence. We help successful firms survive and thrive through these changes. It is no longer about qualifications and compliance, it is about business models and culture.”

In September, Perceptive Planning merged with financial planning firm Transcend Wealth to create a firm with more than £23m of client assets, three CFP qualified financial planners, two paraplanners and an administrator.
