Ex-Saunderson House CEO launches IFA firm

Former Saunderson House chief executive Nick Fletcher has launched independent advice firm London Wall Partners with former Kleinwort Benson chief investment officer Jeremy Beckwith.

The firm, which launched this week, is partner-owned and funded, and will provide advice to individuals and trusts.

Former KPMG financial services practice director Mark Johnston has joined the firm as chief financial officer and chief operating officer.

The firm’s investment committee includes the partners and two independent consultants – Ingrid Kirby, who spent 25 years with Hermes Pension Fund Managers, and investment fund and securities specialist Dan Kemp.

Former FSA company secretary Iain Brown and lawyer Mark Bogard have been appointed to the firm’s advisory board.

Fletcher, who left Saunderson House in January after 18 years, says: “I am confident that we have the expertise and talent to respond to any economic climate, including the current one, and to meet the needs of those who have worked hard to build their capital.”
