Former Positive Solutions chief executive Jim Reeve has set up a consultancy firm.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Reeve is now managing director of Signature Private Clients.
The profile describes Signature as a “fusion of business consultancy and interim services for leaders of all financial services businesses, with a touch of passion, action and hands-on experience”.
Reeve (pictured) stepped down as chief-exec of PosSol in February to pursue other opportunities within the financial services sector. He joined the firm in September 2007. He was replaced by PosSol commercial director and former Burns-Anderson director Peter Coleman.
Prior to PosSol, Reeve was Barclays Bank financial planning managing director.
Reeve was unavailable for comment at the time of going to press.
Consilium Financial Planning managing director Kevin Morgan says: “Jim Reeve obviously thinks it is a good idea and has faith in the sector to present opportunities for him to provide firms with help and guidance.
“I’m not surprised he’s made the move into consultancy when looking at the amount of experience he has in the financial planning sector.”
